Happy New Years Eve Crafty Friends,
  I hope everyone's holidays were chockfull of joy & happiness... Our's were lovely & thankyou to those who so thoughtful & sent me a wonderful card!
  Right after Christmas, I headed out to do some shopping with my college aged son while he is home from school. He is such a sweet kid, he doesn't mind a bit, being dragged around scrapbook stores. I am truely blessed to have my wonderful children!
  I didn't find to many great deals, but I did manage to find afew. Make sure you check out your local Michael's for the sale on Tim Holtz stuff. i am hoping it wasn't just a glitch at my store so you all can get in on the deal.
  Lastly, thank you to all of you wonderful crafty friends, I am so glad I have gotten to know so many of you over the last year or so & I am looking forward to getting to know each of you better in the New Year. I have met some of the nicest, most caring people through my blog & YouTube, on this journey we call life. I know God has put you all on my path for a reason & I truely value the freindships we have made.
  Here's to all you special people in my life & my 2013 be a happy, healthy & prospurous New Year!

  Not everyone has been blessed enough to have a loving & supportive family to raise them. So many children are homeless & living on the streets & it makes me so very, very sad.

Episode #316 ~ Super Simple Sunday #32 Gift Basket Goodies!

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends,
  I have been super busy making cards and goodies for a gift basket I am putting together as a donation on behalf of my women's group that I am in. We raise alot of money every year and donate the proceeds to needy families and charties in our area.
  Pink seems to be my color choice this holiday season, so out of the box for me! I just love it though and really want to do a pink tree in my daughters room.
  I used some retired Stampin' Up! sets as well as current ones to make these pretty cards, so I hope this might inspire you to break out those stamp sets you barely use.

Episode #315 ~ Christmas Fun!

Hi there Happy Friends,
  I hope each & everyone of you had a memorable Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the holidays as  much as I am! We had my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law staying with us for Thanksgiving and it was great to see them and spend time showing them around New York City.
  Surely, many of you know the feeling of having family far away and I am most grateful they were willing and able to make the drive out to New Jersey.
  In this video, I share some of the projects I have been working on while waiting anxiously for our guests to arrive! I will probably do a video on the making of the Gingerbread Boy card and also I have received a request for one on making the tags. They make great little hostess gifts for this time of year.

Episode #314 Super Simple Sunday #31

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends,
  Crazy day here in my house, life is getting back to normal since "Sandy" & the Nor'easter hit last week. Kids are back in school finally, which means I was able to play in my craftroom! Yippee!!! I had to edit this video because it was too long & I want to make sure I give credit to Yvette the Garden Scrapper from Splitcoast for the awesome idea for this beautiful card. I cut out the part where I mentioned her name where I edited it. You could make it using any color with the Mica flakes & have a stunning card.

Episode #310 ~ Yikes! There is a Bear in my Yard!!!

OMGosh you guys,
  I was uploading my previous Pumpkin Poop video when this precious, rather large youngster waddled right past my den window! He is sooooo stinkin' cute & while I was uploading he even came back for more corn. He kept starring up at the hanging ghost upstairs hanging from the balcony, he wasn't to sure what to make of that!
  Aaaahhhh... this is mountain life at it's best!

Episode #308 ~ My Halloween Tree 2012

Happy Tuesday Everyone,
  I am really in the spirit for Halloween & I can't wait to get my whole house decorated! Yesterday, I made the trip through New York State to Hobby Lobby in Middletown, NY. I just love that store & I also make a pit stop at T.J. Maxx also & picked up a few more goodies.
  Deco mesh is such a bomb, I love to work with this stuff! It makes everything look so professional. I started this project with a pre-lit black, 6ft tree from Hobby Lobby. I put lots of Hallween goodies on it & they are not meant to be used as an ornament, but hey... it works for me!

Hi Everyone,
  Happy Sunday! After a super fun evening spent at a neighbor's rockin' party last night, we are making today a lazy, relaxing kind of day. I listening to a live band don't you? Nothing like it!
  I have had this ADORABLE stamp set called "Wicked Cool" for sometime now. I just love every image in this set & finally sat down to create with it. I got this idea from a poster on Splitcoast by the name of Lih52. Thanks to her for this fun idea!
  Cute & easy is the name of the game for me & I love cards that can easily be mass produced. Have a wonderful Sunday wherever you are & take time to "Use" what  you have.

Episode #303 ~ Shopping Fun!

Hi Crafty Friends,
  I have been really crazy with this shopping stuff, but I will definately put it all to good use! I just came across this video from last week when Y.T. wouldn't let me upload videos.
  With much excitement, I found a very cute, new scrapbook store not to far from my house. I was twirling around the place when I saw all the scrappy goodness she had! I loved meeting all the sweet gal's at a Christmas card class that I attended as well last week, I'll share those darling cards a little later. Next week, I am going to my first ever Copic Class & boy I am super excited!!!

Episode #299 ~ Wedding Album / Mini

  I created a Wedding Album for our niece who is getting married this September, I just love weddings! She is super sweet & I can't wait to see this filled with all of her wonderful pictures. This is an 8 x 8 album that I found at A.C. Moore. I really enjoy making albums this size that you can fit 1 or 2 pictures on....

  Here is a new video for my Super Simple Sunday series. It's a little late, but I have been super busy! I love this GOJUS stamp set "Fresh Vintage". It has quickly become  one of my "Go To" stamp sets & seems to work for any occassion.

Episode #296 ~ Sweet 16 Birthday Card Holder

Happy Sunday Everyone,
  I apologize for being away from the crafting scene for what feels like ages, but i have been very busy with the school year coming to a close. I have also been serving on Grand Jury Duty since March & it is also finally coming to an end.
  That being said... We have our daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday party to look forward to this Friday night! I have out of town guests arriving on Thursday all day & then setting up the room at the golf club. It's going to be very hetic, but i am sure alot of fun for all!
  In this video, I show you how I made the Birthday Card holder so people won't just put them on the table. I found this white bird cage in the wedding section at Walmart & the materials at all sorts of different locations.
  The big day is almost here & I can't wait to share the wonderful pictures with all of you. Wait until you see her gown... GOJUS!

Episode #295 ~ Coloring GORGUSS Stamps

Hi Everyone,
  Well YouTube finally allowed me to upload this video, I had been trying since Sunday. I am a newbie to the Copic coloring world, but I have to say I am enjoying them so much! I am also just getting into the whole Greeting Farm Stamps & also the adorable GORJUSS stamps. My new favorite (next to Stampin' Up! of course...).
  I ordered my Copic Sketch Set from PaigeeDraw & my hubby ordered the Set B from Amazon. I hope that helps anyone who might be looking into purchasing some Copic markers.

Computer Meltdown!!!

Hi Everyone,
  Just a quick note to let you know that I have been trying for days to upload a video for you to YouTube and I am not having any success. It begins as though it is going to upload and after hours and hours (overnight even) I find that it dumped the video and says I have no internet connection. Now, I do have internet connection as I am able to post this for all of you, so I am not sure what is going on.
I may just have to call in my computer guru, Miss Veronica from VK Design Co, but for now I will make another "lame" attempt to figure this out for myself. I really don't like asking people for help!!!
  I am off to my craftroom to complete a few scrapbook layouts before the daily frantic carpooling begins!

Episode #293 ~ Super Simple Sunday #26 "Sweet 16" Centerpiece

Hi Everyone,
  I hope you are enjoying this glorious weekend... I have been busy getting started on making our daughter's "Sweet 16" Birthday Party centerpieces. What fun I am having!!! I found these really pretty & very tall vases on sale last week at A.C. Moore. Much to my suprise, I also found that they are carrying Deco Mesh as well, yippee... Her gown is tons of amazing layers of teal, blue. light blue and dark blue tule. Lot's of sparkley beads and rhinestones, really stunning!!!
  Originally, I was planning on having floral centerpieces made, but it was really exspensive and I figured I could make something that really reflected her bubbly personality. Her face lit up when she saw this and I knew I hit the nail on the head. *Twirls around the room* I am sooooo excited for her and her big day!

Episode #291 ~ Super Simple Sunday #25 / Fancy Flower Stamp Set

Happy Sunday Everyone,
  Greetings from soggy and wet New Jersey! After having such extremely warm weather this year, a big rainstorm moved in last night, cancelling the 4th quater of my daughters softball game, rats! I am glad to see it though, our grass and greenery really need the water. Plus, it's a good day to be in my scraproom, for a little while anyway...
  In today's tutorial, I am using the Stampin' Up! stamp set called "Flower Fancy". It has alot of stamps in it, I love sets that give you alot of bang for your buck! I also used the sentiment from "Heard from the Heart". A little Baja Blue and some Lucky Limeade ink and viola ~ you have a quick and easy card. Actually, I made a whole stash of these cuties for my card box. I like being ready at a moments notice if I need a card in a hurry.

Episode 289 ~ Rachael Ray Mis-Hap, Cards from Val & Haul

Hi Everyone,
  I hope you all are doing well & enjoying this glorious weather we are having. I thought I would share with you some of the scrappy goodness I picked up at Hobby Lobby & Big Lots. I had a road trip with my favorite girl, Maggie my Golden Retriever! It took us about an hour to reach our destination & it was a beautiful sunny day for a drive through the country. I think I will make more of these road trips in the future, perhaps every season. I LOVE Hobby Lobby!

  Yippee... It's Friday!!! Finally the weekend is here *twirls around the room*. I was a very happy crafter yesterday after I found these great products & deals at my local JoAnn's. If you have near you, definitely check it out & don't forget to look in the clearance bin. I found some great K & Company products & I really like it. It wasn't just on sale, I really, really like it!

  Sorry this Super Simple Sunday video is going up a little late, after seeing a movie with the whole family on Sunday, our oldest son was having chest pains so off to the E.R. we went. He is fine & all his tests came normal, but seeing how I have had heart issues, we didn't want to take any chances.

  Happy Saturday friends! I didn't get a chance to post this video to my blog last night, I was up really late playing in my craftroom with some of my new goodies that arrived yesterday. I love when that Big Brown truck pulls up to my house, I even know the sound of the engine!
  I tried my hand at making a vintagey (sp) card & I really like the way it turned out. I am usually a really "cutesie" kid of gal, but this was a great change of pace.

In this video, I wanted to make some thankyou cards for afew of my wonderfully, loyal & supportive stamping friends who purchased their Stampin' Up! goodies through my website THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH! I also met a new friend Brenda & she joined my rockin' team!!! I am so excited, woo-hoo!
I am truely blessed & count my blessings each & everyday. Tomorrow I start Grand Jury Duty which will contiune through the end of June. I think this will be a really interesting experience! Hope all is well with each & everyone of you. Thankyou for hanging with me while I took alittle break.

Hi Scrappy Friends, I hope you all are having a relaxing weekend... I found this really cute Valentine's Day Treat on Splitcoaststampers & I apologize that I can't remember who came up with this idea. I just knew I wanted to make a bunch of these and give them out to my friends and neighbors.
This is a quick and easy project, so give it a try! I found the cello pretzel bags at Walmart in the cake decorating section.

Episode #280 Super Simple Sunday #22 Valentine Treat Holder

Happy Sunday crafty friends,

I hope you are enjoying a really big football day with your family & friends! My scrubby is making is delicious mosticholli & meatballs for dinner, yum ~ It doesn't get any better then that... I did manage to get in my craft room this afternoon & play with the new Petal Die from S/Up! that's been on my desk for awhile. With Valentine's Day right around the corner, it seemed the perfect die to use to make a treat holder. I picked up a bag of lollipops at CVS the other day & this makes a fun treat to pass out to friends, co-workers & neighbors. It's really easy to make & it's always fun to see peoples faces light-up when they receive a hand made gift!

Hi Crafty friends,
Just stopping by to say "hello" & share with you a few things I picked up at A.C. Moore over the weekend while I was out dress shopping with my daughter. She has her Sweet 16 Birthday Party coming up in June. I am trying to get ahead & begin planning what I will be making for "thank you gifts" for the guests.
