Epi. #535 ~ Post-It-Note Christmas Gift Using Stampin' Up!

Hi there Happy Stampers,

A request was made on how to make these super quick and easy Post-It-Note Covers, they make excellent little gifts for anyone on your holiday list!

I found this on Splitcoast Stampers but I was not able to find the persons name anywhere on the written instructions. There are lots of different crafters who share this same idea and how to do them. I am sure you will find many more on Pinterest too...

The little pens I added to the gift bag came from the Dollar Spot at Target. Don't forget to add some chocolate too, that always a sure bet for anyone!

I hope everyone is staying warm, we are in an artic freeze here in Chicago, I have been praying SO hard for all those who are homeless and also the furry animals that live outdoors. When I brush our fluffy Golden Retriever, I have been putting her fur in the bushes so the birds and other animals can add it to their nests and homes to help them stay warm. My mom used to do that when I was growing up, we are BIG animal lovers so anything to help them.

Please consider making a food donation to your local church or outreach programs, so many go without and it just shouldn't be that way.

OMGoodness - this sparkling ✨ sleigh is simply stunning! I used the Brenda Walton Sleigh Die that I got at the Scrap Expo last year. I used all the GOJUS red glitter cardstock and Candy Cane Lane papers from Stampi' Up!

I will definitely be making more, they certainly have the "Wow" factor! 🎄

Well I finally was able to find some time to get into my craft room and do some crafting! I saw a wonderful video from the cutest chick over on YouTube by the name of Little Hot Tamale. She demo'd a really cute christmas banner and I grabbed my coffee and ran down the stairs!!!

I have a fun project to share with you today and I am part of a "Collaboration" with Bobbi from The Paper Jungle on YouTube!

Today was all about Envelope FlipBooks!!! Boy, are they fun to make and not difficult at all... I used the Hello December Project Life Card Collection from Stampin' Up! and also the Accessory Kit to make it super simple for my first "go" at this type of project.

Our Medium Whisper White Envelopes (4) made the perfect base for this book. In addition, I used the wonderful Warmth & Cheer Designer Paper pack to give it a rustic feel.

Jolly Friends is another really adorbable stamp set that I have really gotten lots of use out of...

I am not sure if I am going to be offering this Sampler as a "Mail Order Kit" this month, it was a lot of work and it might be easier for all of you to just put it together yourselves the way you want to. Check back in a day or two and I will post an update as to my decision.

Can you believe Halloween is almost here? Where has the year gone? You know what that means... Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner, gosh!

Hi Everyone,

How uber cute are these spoooooookkkyyy Ghost Luminaries??? I think they are just the bomb and I had SO much fun creating different variations of scaredy ghost!

They went together super quickly and easily and no worries about any danger of a fire beacuase of course I used a battery powered tea light - perfect...

Episode #516 ~Using "Scraps" on a Foxy Friends Card by Stampin' Up!

Hi there Crafty Friends,

Happy Saturday, I hope you are enjoying your weekend ~

If you are anything like me, you save and promise that you will use your "scraps" on a future project... but that never comes to fruition. Well after a inspiring morning spent with my fellow StampaHOWlic sisters, I came home determined to use the "scraps" from one of my most FAVORITE Designer Series Paper Stacks "A Little Foxy" from the Stampin' Up! 2016 Annual Idea Book & Catalog. 

I love the pretty patterns and think they go well with fall themed projects! You can see in my tutorial below how easy it is to put those darn scraps to use and make a dent in my scrap drawer - yippee!
P.S. I changed the cute little raccoon from a boy in the video to a girl in the snapshot...

I just wanted to share an oldie but goodie scary Halloween card that I made last Halloween. The senitment reads "Have a WICKED Halloween" and I created the background with the Gorgeous Grundge Stampe Set which is still in our Annual Catalog.

I simply free-hand, cut-out the witches hands from green cardstock. When I originally saw this set and those ink splatters it made me think of a crime scene.

Be still my heart - *sigh*... I am over the moon with joy over how this card came together. This beauty is going to be our family Christmas card for 2016, I just love it!

EPISODE #513~ DRACULA'S COFFIN TREAT USING "HOME SWEET HOME" DIES

EEEEeeeeekkkk! I am so excited to share this fun and SUPER cute treat holder with you today! I think it's just adorable and the little Dracula couldn't be cuter. I used the "Home Sweet Home" Dies from the Stampin' Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog and that made it so quick and easy.

Now if I can stop eating the treats inside - aaaccckkkk!!!

Be careful if you are using the White Craft ink on your clear (photopolymer) stamps and blocks.

I didn't clean them off right away and they left the ink on them. I restamped with them using regular black ink and they were stamping just fine. Just a word of caution...

Hi there Everyone,

I have been super excited to bust out this stamp set and punch and make some cute Halloween cards and projects! This Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper is even prettier in person... Wowza! I can see that I am going to be using this gorgeous paper on lots of projects that's for sure.

Dracula and bats just seem to go together for a fun Halloween scene and I think this little cutie is just perfect. I've got lots of fun ideas for treat holders, so keep your eye out on my Facebook - The Happy Stamper page for posted pictures as well as my blog.

Greetings Paper Crafters,

Check out this really cute fun-fold card using the "Jolly Friends" Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! These images are just darling and make the cutest cards and projects! It's a very somber day here in the USA - September 11th.

Having moved from New Jersey two years ago, it really hits home for my family.

Episode #507 ~ Project Life Cards!!!

Hi Everyone,

  Happy Wednesday ~ I have been working on my family scrapbook album and trying to get caught up. While I am super excited for the BIG launch of our Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog 2016 being available for everyone to order from tomorrow September 1st - I really need to use some of my retired products that I have sitting around. Does that ever happen to you? You have great intentions for a item and then more cute stuff comes along and the previous item gets pushed to the side and then I forget about it...

  I have wanted to make some quick cards using the Project Life cards from the retired kit that I have sitting around. So, I made some today and boy are they fun to make! I stamped on some added Candy Dots to another, some I didn't do anything too. But they all look really nice and I think will put a smile on someone's face when they recieved one.

Episode #506~"Jolly Friends" Christmas Card By: Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone,

  I feel like it's been so long since I posted a video for you guys, I've been in Back -To- School mode with getting our daughter set up at college and also getting our baby ready for his Senior year of High School. Gosh... where have the years gone???

  Since I am in a swap with my stamping/upline group, I created this really cute card featuring the stamp set "Jolly Friends" and the sentiment comes from "Suite Sayings" both of which will be available to purchase on September 1st, 2016 from the Stampin' Up! new Holiday Catalog. Uber cuteness!!! This elf is just adorable and I can't wait to use the Santa Claus and also the Moose - how fun are those?   It's never to early to start prepping for your holiday cards, it will be here before we know it and I like to have mine done by mid November so I can enjoy a day of addressing my cards and not feeling rushed or hurried. I am trying to enjoy the holidays and all the little things that go with it and not fall into the whole "commercial" part of it.

Episode #503~ "Foxy Friends" and Double Textured Background By: Stampin'...

Happy Sunday Everyone,

  I am excited ( I know, I usually am...) to share this reeeaaaallly sweet card I "c.a.s.e.d" from Tammy M. on Pinterest with all of you! I LOVE this super cool technique "Double Textured/Embossing" background - OMGoodness, it's just adorable!!! Not to mention the to die for stamp set Foxy Friends, *Sigh*...

There is so much cuteness in this stamp set I can't wait to create more projects with it. Also available is the matching punch to make it very easy to punch out the shapes and create different little critters.

If you are an animal lover like me, you will love this set and have a BIG smile on your face when you create cute projects with it.

  We are going camping this week, so I am already visualzing some scrapbook pages I want to make with it - Eeeeekkkk!

  Can you believe this is my 500th video on YouTube?!? I am so excited and I have enjoyed getting to know all of you over the past 7 years! Let the fun begin ~
