I wanted to create a bible journaling page today using my new #creativeretreat kit for the month of August. It arrived while I was out of town with my scrubby (scrapbooking hubby) and I am excited to finally have found some time (6am - ugh) to give it a go!
For some reason this was a challenging entry for me at I just felt like going back to the very beginning...
I really like the stamps and the lettering font in this months kit, it's really pretty.

I am sooooo looking forward to creating cards and scrapbook pages for fall and everything that goes along with it. I miss football my fireplace and decking out the house in all the beautiful colors that can only mean one season... FALL!!!
I hadn't done the Marbling Technique is forever so I thought it was high time to bust out my marbles. The beauty of this techqnue is that no two cards will ever be the same! I am anxious to make some pretty Halloween backgrounds using roange and black too, how funky will that be?
I hope you give this fun technique a try, it's super fun and quick as well.
Squeeeeee!!! OMGosh you guys, I am in LOVE with this new "Hearts Come Home" Stamp Set/Bundle! It's from the New Holiday Catalog and while I can place my order today August 1st, you all will be able to order your favorite products on September 1st. This is such a versatile set, I love all the beautiful die cuts.
Where is the cutenss overload button right? Check out the video and let me know which is your most favorite project shown here.
I busted out my Cricut machine yesterday (boy, I forgot how fun this thing is...) to make lots of cute images. At the end of this month, I will be setting up for a FUNdraiser to benefit the Troy Family and my old friend George who is suffering from Maligant Melinoma. Sadly, it spread to George's lymph nods when they found it and recently spread to his pelvic area, 😦
Today I worked on and created a Focal Board to act as the backdrop to the tables which will hold the Silent Auction baskets that will be raffled off.
George's daughter Emily painted a picture of a whale with the tag line "Just Keep Swimming" and so that's what I went with for our theme.
I think it turned out really cute and if you look closely, there is a little Scuba George swimming!
If any of you have an On-line business and would consider making a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be busy putting baskets together and I will post pictures of my Stampin' Up! basket that I am creating as well as a fun Mary Kay basket .
Today I had to make a Sympathy card and I don't know about you but these are not cards that I usually make. In the past I have always purchased a store-bought card but I really wanted to convey my sincerest heartfelt condolences to my old friends son's.
I immediately turned to the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set/Bundle because I knew it had the perfect images and sentiments to go along with it.
See how simply this card comes together and really makes a statement with it's elegance.
Thank you for watching and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Hold the phone folks - this is a SUPER cute idea for sending a unique card or adding a gift card as well! I love how this turned out and those little coffee cups are just precious ... The holidays are right around the corner so why not start pacing yourself so you can have plenty of beautiful handmade gift ready and you can relax and enjoy all the festivities and merriment of the season. Get a head start and save yourself the headache, not to mention with it being soooooo hot outside, it's a great excuse to stay indoors and keep cool while crafting.
I have been playing some Christmas c.d.'s too while I am creating and it really helps put me in the mood!
Thanks for stopping by, I am so glad that you did...
Check out the fun project I made today after seeing the idea 💡 that was shared by my Upline Janice W. from the swaps she received while on the awesome Thailand trip. It's sooooo cute and I am uploading a video as I type this right now.
I love how this turned out and it's perfect for attaching a gift card to!
I hope you found some inspiration today and happy Crafting!
I hope you are enjoying my Christmas in July Series, I am having a wonderful time listening to Christmas music and making cards!
Today I had an idea for the garland stamp from the "At Home With You" stamp set (I know, yes I am using it again...). I also love the look of embossing on Christmas cards, it just steps the card up a bit.
This is such a pretty card and would be very easy to mass produce on a larger scale.
I hope this gives you another idea for using your stamps a little differently than what they are designed for, give it a try yourself. It's fun to come up with unique ideas when creating our cards.
We are just a little less than six months until Christmas and all the festivites will be in full swing, gosh - the time always flies when the 4th of July is over... I am using the fantastic stamp set "At Home With You" from Stampin' Up! in todays tutorial. I have been using it a lot lately and I love how versitile this set is. I had this idea rolling around in my head and thought that the ribbon stamp from this set would make a really cute country star! Well what do you know - it did, lol!!!
I am really happy with the simple, rustic feel of this card - just lovely.
I hope this challenges you to try to think outside of the box so to speak. Try using your stamps in different ways, it's fun to see what you can come with.
Please share YOUR projects with everyone over on my Facebook page: The Happy Stamper

As many of you know, I LOVE to decorate for all the holidays but the 4th of July is one of my favorites. You see all the fun decorations and the 4th of July tree I made two years ago for our front hall. It sparkles and shines and I giggle when I see cars and passerbyers stop to look in through the windows to see what the tree is all about. I am certain they must think it's a christmas tree, lol!
I hope you enjoy the town and get some inspiration and make your home fun and festive.

If you follow me on Facebook you know about the sweet momma and daddy Duck that have blessed us with making their home in our yard. I give daily updates on her and the incredible story of her natural love and acceptance of a plastic Easter egg that she found in the yard that blew off one of my Easter decorations.
This incredible creature has brought this bright green plastic egg into her nest alongside of all seven (7) of her real eggs and sits on them all day every day.
A friend, Cathy suggested that I contact the t.v. stations here in Chicago and after giving it some thought I did and ABC Channel 7 News here in Chicago was at our house within a hour! They loved the story, so keep your eye out for it tonight on the 5,6 or 10pm news! They mic''d me up and I shared her sweet story ~

Happy Monday, I feel like I haven't shared a video in forever - it's only been a week, but lots is going on in our home and I am in full blown Graduation party mode!
I've been super anxious to play with this beautiful stamp set "Birthday Blossoms" that I have had my eye on for a long, long time. The DSP I used in this video "Succulent Garden" is retiring at the end of May so you only have until the 30th of this month to get your hands on it before it goes away for good.
I hope you give this fabulous fun fold card for yourself and if you do, please share your creation on my The Happy Stamper Facebook page or by using the #thehappystamper
Happy Saturday - I have been in my craft room all day working on Graduation 👨🏻🎓 decorations for our youngest son's party coming up soon.
But, I wanted to share this great idea 💡 to help you manage your Washi tape. It's not my original idea, I have seen several people on YouTube use this method and I wanted to share it all of you too!
Simply put the spools on these inexpensive embroidery hoops that you can find at your local craft store. You can quickly see what you are looking for and it's all neat and tidy - brilliant!
I hope you find this tip helpful... Have a wonderful weekend.
Are you ready for some summer??? I sure am and I miss the Jersey shore SO much! Luckily, I have this adorable new stamp set from the 2017-2018 Stmapin' Up! catalog and it's called "Colorful Seasons". I am crazy about every single stamp in the set, it's a year round collection and also has matching dies for quick and easy cutting out.
The Color Theory Designer Series Paper Collection is another favorite of mine and its super versatile
in your card making as well as scrapbooking. I am anxious to get some pages done this week using it in my pocket pages scrapbooking.
I hope you enjoy this project and I can't wait to share the cards I recieve from the swap I am in with all of you. It's always so fun to see what everyone creates...
Who doens't need birthday cards ALL the time??? I know I do and today I made some fun ones with the Happy Celebrations stamp set from Stampin' Up!
With summer almost here, I had to use fresh and sun shiny colors - doesn't card just scream SUMMER to you? I am so happy with how it turned out and I hope you give this stamp set a try. I really like sets that have sentiments plus images, that's a win-win in my book.

I am on my way to our niece's Baby Shower today and I am very excited to see her and give her all the gifts I made for her and little bundle of joy!
I am this darling card using the new "Over The Moon" stamp set from the Occassions Catalog. I totally cased this from a gal in Pinterest, I am posting this while I am in the car (not driving of course) lol but I will try to find her name when I get home so I can give her proper credit.
How many of you remember this great stamp set called "Viola" by Stampin' Up!?
As soon as my daughter asked me to make a Thank You card for the Chef at her sorority house, I knew this was the stamp set I was going to use!
I combine that set as well as the current set "Perfect Pair" from the Occassions Catalog. I hope she likes it and all the girls can sign their names since is a large 5 x 7" card...
Can't forget about making a super cute custom envelope for it ~

I finally used the "Rose Wonder" stamp set from Stampin' Up! To create the pretty background paper which is perfect for the pictures of our gardens around our home. I used my watercolor brush and ink from my ink pads (right on the lids) to create the pretty watercolor effect.
I filmed a video yesterday as well using my phone and after trying all Day yesterday ias well as again this morning and it will not upload for some reason. I had to just give up so I will make another today and hopefully that will upload without a problem.

Well, it's almost that time of year again... GRADUATION TIME! Our baby boy is graduating from High School this year and it is with mixed emotions that I am making this card.... *Sigh*
So many exciting new adventures on the horizon for him and we will officailly be empty-nesters - yikes!
With all of this in mind, I grabbed my trusty Large Numbers Die, the Sunshine Wishes Die and the Stars Die and set to work. I really like how this card turned out and I think it works for either a girl or a guy. You could personalize it by using the recipients school colors, how fun!
I hope this gives you some inspiration, don't let the Graduations sneak up on you!
