Happy Sunday Friends,
I just had to share our joyful news - We got a new puppy and her name is Tessa!
She’s a Standard Golden Retriever and some of you might remember that we lost our previous Golden Maggie to cancer a year ago.
I never thought I could go down this road of loving and having another dog and then bam - here comes this precious girl and we knew she was meant for us.
I’ll be sharing many more pictures and scrapbooking tons of them, until then say a little prayer we make it smoothly through the potty training stage!
Puppy Kisses from Tessa,
How adorable is Tessa! When I was training our dogs, I took the dog, by leash, to only one spot in the yard and said Go Potty and when they did, I praised them with abundant hugs and kisses. But it does require a lot of patience, doesn’t it😊
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
DeleteThat's great - potty training is a lot of work but will be worth it. I am excited and looking forward to the holidays when she should be house broken and able to let us know when she needs to do her "Business"...
Hugs,
Gale :)
She is adorable Gale! Our Vizsla is going down hill and I regret the day she is gone. But no more dogs for us after this because it is hard to travel when you have to find a place for them to go.
ReplyDeleteHi Cindy,
DeleteThanks so much, I am sorry to hear your Vizsla isn't doing well. I know how hard it is to lose a fur-baby... Traveling can be challenging that's for sure, luckily for us we enjoy camping and can take her with us.
Warm Hugs,
Gale :)
Training your new lab puppy to take toys and treats gently is a great way of controlling his behaviour. This way your puppy will learn how behave in the way that you want him to. If he's good he will get a treat and praise.
